The seeds are sown direct in the flower beds or raised in the nursery.
Chilling (cool) temperature brings out most beautiful colours. It makes
an attractive pot plant with its colourful foliage for a long period.
Prior to its coming into flowering in late April, the flowers are light
yellow in colour and remain in bloom for a short period. The foliage is
edible and is widely used for salad decoration. It is best used in mass
display of colours in rows and undulations.
